AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Huntersville Presbyterian Church (HPC) is seeking an Afterschool Director to lead our afterschool, and possibly summer camp, program(s) and to be the face of Christian love, faith, practice and mission to the staff, children, parents and community.  It is essential that this candidate will be able to ensure a warm, nurturing, loving and safe environment for our students, their parents and the staff.  This position is a part-time salaried position and the core hours are 1:30 - 6:30 Monday through Friday.   The Afterschool Director will manage and lead a staff of 6 - 8 childcare providers and participate in the HPC staff meetings and other events.  The key competencies for a successful candidate are teamwork and collaboration with the Preschool Director, Director of Discipleship, Childcare Board, Financial Secretary and all others that will impact this role; change leadership and emotional intelligence are also very important competencies.  For a full position description, please visit our church website at www.hpcpatch.org.  Interested candidates may send their resumes to the Attention of Holly Johnson via e-mail

Seigle Avenue Presbyterian Church in Charlotte is looking for a part-time minister of music.  The Minister of Music leads the congregation in worship through music. This leadership is expected in traditional worship services and in other parish activities (fellowship events, study groups, retreats, community services). The Minister of Music incorporates diverse styles into worship, including traditional and contemporary hymns, gospel music, and multi-cultural music. The Minister of Music has the skills to plan effective worship, to perform, to teach, and to encourage many congregation members to share their music gifts. The Minister of Music is a part-time position of 8-10 hours per week. It is important for the Minister of Music to engage him or herself into the life of the congregation and be willing to fellowship with the church after worship and at special events. Statesville Avenue Presbyterian Church is looking for a custodian to provide essential maintenance services for the church building.  This individual would be responsible for maintaining security of premises and ensuring the building is in safe condition and locked at appropriate times; monitoring and reporting the need for repairs to the pastor and/or Trustees; performing daily duties including emptying trash receptacles, cleaning floors (vacuuming, sweeping, dust-mopping entire building); cleaning restrooms; cleaning sanctuary; wiping down kitchen counters and appliances; wiping down water fountains; etc.  Flexible days and times.  Statesville Avenue office phone: 704-596-4550.
