HUNTERSVILLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
  > “Embrace Haiti”
is a mission that Huntersville Presbyterian Church helped start
in 2009 when we traveled to Haiti to fix wells in the North.  Pastor Vern Dodd was
on this “Vision” trip where missionaries identified an isolated village between Cap
Haitien and Fort Liberte’  in desperate need of love.  A year later, we’re almost
finished building a school in the village of Bayaha where 51 children are getting a
formal education for the first time in their lives.  A feeding program, community
garden, nurse visits and small industry have come along side the school effort to
help sustain the project.  We would love any other Churches with interest to join
with us as there is plenty of work to go around.  Renew your own faith helping the
poorest of the poor and be surprised what they will teach you.
