MEETING LOCAL NEEDS

5 Cents A Meal    Raise funds through special church offerings & projects to submit to the presbytery’s 5 Cents-A-Meal program, and all funds will be distributed to non-profit organizations within the presbytery to feed local hungry people.

MEETING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL NEEDS

Hearts for Hunger    Consider creative projects to raise funds for the presbytery’s new Hearts for Hunger program. All funds will be dispersed to national & international hunger-related mission projects sponsored by our presbytery’s churches.       Kenya   Find a list of needs that can be met in Kenya with your simple donations. Consider making a donation as an alternative gift option.       Mexico   Consider ways to raise funds to meet these needs of people in Mexico.       Stop Hunger Now   This program provides life-saving meals to people throughout the world who suffer from starvation. It is a volunteer-based program that enables churches and other organizations to play a significant roll by packaging high protein, dehydrated meals for needy areas such as Haiti, Kenya, Ghana, Honduras, and more. It also provides an on-site mission that illustrates the spirituality of hospitality, compassion, and justice.  Consider hosting an event at your church, or check back frequently to see if there is a Stop Hunger Now event happening in your area.
