Representatives from the Presbytery of Charlotte and other denominations are organizing the second annual Multicultural Festival, which will be held October 4, 2008 at Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church. The event will serve up some family fun for all races and nationalities from every continent around the globe. Join as we learn about each other and fellowship with one another in a celebration of the diverse body of Christ.    The day will begin with Soccer Tournaments for all ages from 9:00-11:00am. Those interested are asked to submit their registration form early, so we can prepare to divide participants into proper age groups and teams.       At 11:30 there will be a brief multicultural worship service, followed by a parade of nations. The festival will be held from 12:00-3:00pm, and will include ethnic foods, music, dancing, children’s activities, and more!       You can be a part of it! We are looking for cultural groups (from all continents) to set up displays and bring food representative of their culture. We are also looking for volunteers to serve in other capacities. Please fill out this group/volunteer form and let us know!   Also, promote this event in your church bulletins and by posting this flyer on your church bulletin boards. We will also make arrangements to provide your church with decorative bookmarks to distribute to your congregants as a reminder of the event, or we will arrange for a special announcement/presentation at your church. Send us an email if interested!
