Dealing With Extreme Heat: The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has posted several self-help measures to their website to assist with extreme heat.  These tips are not a substitute for medical care but may help you recognize and respond promptly to warning signs of trouble. Your best defense against heat-related illness is prevention. Staying cool and making simple changes in your fluid intake, activities, and clothing during hot weather can help you remain safe and healthy.

What Would Your Family Do in the Event of a Disaster? Create a Family Disaster Plan, so that you can be well-prepared in the event of a fire, flood, hurricane, or other disaster. Atlanta Presbytery created guidelines for developing a family disaster plan, which you can access here.
