OFFICE/ADMINISTRATION/FINANCE POSITIONS

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)
UNION PRESBYTERIAN SEMINARY, CHARLOTTE CAMPUS
Union Presbyterian Seminary, Charlotte campus, has an opening for a part-time (up to 25 hours) administrative support team member. This position would include, but not be limited to, oversight of daily building operations (including processing invoices, contracting with vendors, ordering supplies, and oversight of maintenance/repairs); administrative/clerical needs primarily in support of the Academic Dean’s office as well as other faculty/staff, as the schedule allows. Strongest applicants are detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, self-motivated, have strong computer and communication skills, and enjoy working in a support function as part of a team. Experience in building management a plus but not required. This position does require Saturday hours during the academic terms. MECKMIN COORDINATOR – ADMINISTRATIVE FOCUS (Part-Time)
Do you have a heart for interfaith work? MeckMin is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Coordinator with a focus on administrative tasks. These include:
•Light bookkeeping
•Electronic communications such as weekly newsletter
•Event registration process
•Monthly packets for board meetings (agenda, financial and committee reports, program updates)
•Youth programming (summer camp planning)
•Familiarity with WordPress, Indesign, Excel

The ideal candidate will have expertise and comfort with the above tasks as well as an ability to see the big picture of over-all programing for an interfaith organization. The ability to organize and coordinate tasks with other staff is essential as well as an ability to take initiative and work alone. The ideal candidate must also be committed to the ideals of MeckMin and have an appreciation for the complexities of interfaith work and communication.

YOUTH MINISTRY COORDINATOR AT CALDWELL PC
The Youth Ministry Coordinator will oversee programming for and work with middle and high school youth (grades 6-12), and their families at Caldwell Presbyterian Church. The Coordinator will develop healthy relationships with the youth, supporting their faith development, helping them connect faith, purpose, and action. The Coordinator will work with Caldwell volunteers and other Caldwell staff to develop and oversee youth programming while working to integrate the youth into the life of the church. Black’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, located at 509 Parker Street in Monroe, North Carolina is seeking to hire an experienced Choir Director for the Combined, Men’s, and Gospel Choirs. The position would include a weekly rehearsals, with performances on Sunday and perhaps an additional performance around the Christmas and/or Lenten seasons.
