Use of Property:
**Fellowship Point is available for use April 1 through November 15 each year.  CLICK HERE to view calendar of available dates and to make a reservation request online.

Fellowship Point is provided for the use of churches in our Presbytery. The Presbytery of Charlotte employs a caretaker who maintains the property and buys supplies.

Please understand: there are times when the facility is in high demand. Your group may be asked to share the facility with another group.

Reservations are taken through the Presbytery office and are taken on a first received, first served basis, but Presbytery churches have priority over other groups.

Reservations are for the shelter and/or the campsites. When a group reserves campsites for 25 or fewer persons, there may also be a day use group at the shelter.

All camping must be in the designated camping area. Campers are to use the fire ring at the camping area; Day-use groups use the fire ring at the shelter area. Groups share the bathrooms, ice machine, worship area, ball field, and the lakefront. If you are planning softball or volleyball, please coordinate times with the other group. Please be respectful when planning activities and keep common areas clean and free from clutter.

Check-in time is 10:00 am.
Groups must leave the property no later than 4:00 pm or be charged $50 per half hour past 4:00 pm.
Weekend use of the full facility will be limited to twice per summer season, per group.

Facilities

SHELTER
The picnic shelter includes ten tables, two rest room facilities (one male and one female) complete with a shower in each, a large charcoal grill, fire ring and an ice machine.
Note: the bathrooms lock automatically. The key will unlock them. Please be sure doors are closed at the end of your stay.

CAMPSITES
Twenty-one campsites are available with trash cans, picnic tables, electrical hook-ups and water. (Five of these sites are equipped with individual grills.) A common fire ring is also available in the camping area.

LAKEFRONT
The lakefront includes a cement boat ramp available for boat launching, a pier with a floating dock and a beach area suitable for sunning. See “swimming rules” before swimming.

HUT (STORAGE BUILDING)
The Hut/storage building is located beside the shelter. It stores first aid kits, fire extinguishers, ring buoy, pole, blue and white buoys, fire buckets and some sports equipment. When you use any of these items, please return them to the Hut before you leave. The Hut can also be used for storing personal items while in residence. Be sure that any food is in sealed containers and that you take all leftovers and personal items with you when you leave. The hut houses a small refrigerator. Please leave NOTHING in the refrigerator when you leave and open the refrigerator door, as electricity is turned off when facility is not in use. Extra toilet paper and trash bags for your end-of-stay camp cleanup are also in the hut.
PLAY EQUIPMENT/BALL FIELD
